We (the 'Royal' we of course) continue to prepare to put the roof rafters on. There has to be enough support first.......

Framing of the second floor continues and we have the steel piece which will connect directly to the top of our amazing sweeping staircase.....

The exterior wall for the stairway was not the only accomplishment today. The welder continues to put in yet more steel, we have a few more walls, and the garage is now covered.

Although I said on July 30th that we are on the rise, now we are really movin' on up! Today I walked on the second floor through the master bedroom across the cat walk and into the study.......but that is not even the coolest part.....

As the sun sets over our new house, the framing continues to move forward
