The exterior frame for the amazing sweeping staircase has begun. This entry is devoted to photographs of this framing event.

Although I said on July 30th that we are on the rise, now we are really movin' on up! Today I walked on the second floor through the master bedroom across the cat walk and into the study.......but that is not even the coolest part.....

As the sun sets over our new house, the framing continues to move forward

We are on the rise! The second floor has been framed and the joists are in!

Framing continues to proceed with steel being welded and wood being nailed.  We have our framing contractors now nailing on plywood exterior walls on one side of the garage
