But that is alright, because there is a plan to fix that.  All the contractor has to do is lift the stairs about 18 inches so that the windows can be removed and reframed some distance below where they are now, reframe the attachment bracket at the top of the stairs, and finally move the brackets at the bottom of the stairs.  That is it.  With these three simple steps, the amazing sweeping staircase can sweep amazingly from the first floor to the second floor.  Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.
