Peter and I attended an auction at the Montecito Country Club today. Yes, we are hob nobbing now. Peter scratched his ass, and we came back with a 300 pound bronze fountain for the front garden.

In the last two weeks, nature has given us the best water test ever and the Copper Green has reared its ugly head again.

As the house gets so much closer to being finished (I know we are still about four months away but that is a drop in the bucket compared to the 25 months we have already been waiting), Peter and I have starting to fill in the interior spaces.  Yep, we have starting buying things to put in our new house.  In particular, Peter placed a huge furniture order yesterday to replace most of the furniture from our old house.

Where there had been green, there is now white. It is going to be a white Christmas this year!

While we wait for the house to air out a bit and we watch while the laborers diligently wash down all the walls, some more windows have been installed, namely the rest of the windows for the amazing sweeping staircase and the windows in the bay window by the kitchen sink.

I know yesterday I told you that the insulation could not go in until the mold remediation was mediated, but the supervisor didn't get the insulation installation stopped quick enough and we already have insulation in the master suite.
