The insulation in the ceiling of the master suite has been installed.  We have Icynene insulation here.  This is a spray foam insulation that sprays on and then expands to fill all the nooks and crannies so the ceiling is super well insulated.

The icynene expands to fill all space as I noted before.  We are now wondering how the speakers are going to fit in the ceiling as the insulation has filled in the entire space above the speaker mounts.

I guess we will just have to cut out a speaker hole......

Interestingly, the insulation installer did wrap the light fixtures with other insulation prior to spraying the icynene foam.  I can only guess that this is to protect the light fixture.  I guess they didn't leave a space for a speaker because they were not sure what the speaker mounts actually were.....

Oh well, at least there is some insulation in!!!

On the outside of the house, the access door to the water tank storage room has now been hung.  Here is a view from the outside.

The water tanks are now secure (not that you would actually be able to steal them because they don't fit through the door hole!).

We also are seeing activity in the utilities area.  The trench which will carry the utilities from the road to our house is complete.
