Here is a taste of the before and after and what better place to see the progress of the Copper Green treatment than to look at the wall which will surround the amazing sweeping staircase!

And now, after two more coats of primer

Wow!  So bright and shiny!

That was certainly an interesting progression.  Now let's look at the master bedroom wall.

Green.....

Partially white....

Bright white!

Okay so that wasn't quite so dramatic, but look at the screen wall of the media room.  I only have the partial white and all white but you can appreciate it all the same.

Nice!  So I think you get the idea.  Our walls are most likely well sealed now, but we have to await the final okay from the supervisors before we can move forward.  They (the supervisors) will come in with a fresh nose (specifically calibrated to smell Copper Green) and take a big whiff to see if the Copper Green is sufficiently covered with primer.  Fingers crossed that the calibration is accurate.....

Although the construction was put on a small hold while we (read 'they') came up with a plan to mediate our brilliant mold remediation plan, there was some progress.  In particular, some of our windows are now stained and they look fantastic!  The windows are all alder so they are beautiful in themselves, but the stain color is just perfect. 

They will look beautiful with the furniture Peter ordered!

Now we wait to hear the outcome of the nose test....
