Okay, so they probably weren't the walls you were expecting and they will not be the finished walls of the house.  Actually, they are the first part of the forms for some of the stem and retaining walls which are yet another part of the foundation of the house. 

Below is the area that will become the mechanical room which is just below the garage.  I put this picture in because it is the first time I feel like I can actually see a room.

We are also now seeing more of the mid grade beams and upper grade beams being formed with the rebar cages.  The mid grade beams are above ground as opposed to the lower and upper grade beams which are below grade.

We cannot wait to see the structural steel being installed!  But for now, we have to be satisfied with just knowing the tie downs are in place for that steel.

And last, but not least, we have the token image that includes the stair foundation (bottom left). Also included are the finished grade beams for the hobby and media room and the first forms for the stem wall which will create one wall of the hobby room.
