Let me start with: I could not accomplish the task of getting a work order from the City of Santa Barbara. I have tried to keep this blog positive, writing about a few mishaps here and there, with a humorous leaning, but that will not be the case today. I have been to the public works counter at the City of Santa Barbara and now it is time to B*&CH!

I know I have already said that the stairs fit and the stairs do fit. However, the finish pieces for the stairs, in particular the shoe molding which will hold the glass railings, do not work at all.

Yesterday, the stairs were lowered into position and they can be attached at both the bottom and top of the stairs! The contractor is thrilled, but I forgot the champagne!
