Preparation for stucco continues

Since we have the opportunity to document the location of all the electrical wiring, audio/visual cabling, and plumbing in our new house, I am taking advantage.  I have been all around the house photographing every inch of the walls to note where all these wires, cables and pipes run in the hopes that these photographs will help in the future if we ever have a problem (which we won't!).  Here are a few examples to give you an idea of how much crap we actually have in the walls.

One wall of the master bedroom showing electrical wiring

In the master closet, we have audio/visual and network cables, plus electrical, the exhaust for the hood in the kitchen, and some plumbing

The plumbing and electrical for the master bathroom sinks and vanities

Plumbing and electrical for the laundry room (some of it anyway)

One kitchen wall - including the stove and hood and various other plumbing and electrical lines

The ceiling in the kitchen which contains the drains for the master bedroom. lighting, and speakers.

At the fireplace position, we of course have gas plumbing, as well as some electric for the livingroom, and audio cabling for the Naim hifi.

So this all seemed like a most excellent idea to me at the time - since we had all the walls open and all the wiring, cabling, and plumbing was done, why not take photographs as documentation.  And while I took all the photographs, I was careful to put in some feature in each frame that would indicate which room I was photographing.  Hopefully, this clever plan will continue to work when years have passed and the walls are all covered!
